Ian Wright labelled Bukayo Saka as ‘elite’ on Instagram after he impressed on his Champions League debut for Arsenal on Wednesday night.
Mikel Arteta’s men brushed aside PSV with a dominating performance in front of a rain-soaked Emirates crowd, with Bukayo Saka scoring and assisting as Arsenal put four on the board.
Whilst the Hale-End star was wowing the crowd in the captain of England, over in Spain’s capital, Jude Bellingham was once again the star of the show for Real Madrid.
The 20-year-old, once again, netted a stoppage-time winner as the 14-time champions narrowly beat German side, Union Berlin.
That was Jude Bellingham’s sixth goal in Real Madrid colours following his summer transfer and the second time he has netted a late winner.
Nonetheless, when Bukayo Saka took to Instagram after experiencing Champions League nights for the first time in his career, the £195k-a-week star (Spotrac) was lauded in the comments section of his post.
Saka shines on Champions League debut
Leandro Trossard, who also scored and assisted against PSV, wrote ‘on fire’, whilst Fabrizio Romano called him a ‘monster’ and Bellingham added ‘congrats brother’.
Saka on the rise
To think that he is only 22 and he is already a performing starter, for both club and country, is out of this world and a credit to his work.
The great thing for the England international is that he is only getting started because this is his first adventure onto the Champions League stage.
If Saka can cook in the Champions League, added to what he is doing in the Premier League, then his already-blossoming career will go up another level.
