Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are reportedly about to make an announcement on the future of Martin Odegaard.
According to a report in Football Transfers this morning, Arsenal have been in talks with Martin Odegaard over a new deal.

Those negotiations appear to have yielded positive results, with the report claiming that “a deal for the Norway international is expected to be announced imminently”.
After a loan spell at Arsenal from Real Madrid in 2021, the Norway international attacking midfielder joined the Gunners on a permanent contract.
The 24-year-old playmaker is under contract at Arsenal until the summer of 2025.

The Norwegian’s current deal runs out in 2025.
Arsenal need to get a new deal done soon.
After all, the North London club would not want to get to the end of the season and then have just one year left on Odegaard’s contract.
Odegaard has flourished under Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
And he is only 24 now.
We believe that the playmaker’s best years are ahead of him and that he will continue to grow and develop.
Maybe in one or two years’ time, Odegaard could become a genuinely world-class player.
Odegaard has made 92 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The Arsenal star has scored 25 goals and given 13 assists in those games.
