Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are reportedly ready to make a move for Juventus winger and Arsenal target Federico Chiesa.
According to CMW, Liverpool are ready to make a bid for Juventus winger Federico Chiesa, who is on the radar of Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal as well.
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Liverpool are willing to bid €35 million (£30 million) for the 25-year-old Italy international winger, described as “really special” by Juve and Italy legend Gianluigi Buffon in La Gazzetta dello Sport in July 2021 – at €60 million (£51.38 million).
This comes after it was reported in the Italian media that Arsenal are keen on Chiesa.
La Repubblica reported last week that Arsenal have made contact with Juventus to enquire about Chiesa.
Arsenal need to step up Federico Chiesa chase because of Liverpool
In our view, if Liverpool are ready to make a bid for Federico Chiesa now, then Arsenal have to step up their pursuit of the Juventus winger.
Now, of course, we do not think that the Merseyside club actually need another winger given the options they have in their attack.
Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo all are brilliant attacking players.
However, it seems that Liverpool want another attacking option, and it is Chiesa.
This means that if Arsenal are really serious about the former Fiorentina winger, then they have to start considering a bid of their own to rival that of Liverpool.
