Arsenal will be scouting two players tonight with Reading duo Caylan Vickers and Tyler Bindon both on the Gunners radar.
Reading talents Caylan Vickers and Tyler Bindon will be scouted by Arsenal this evening.
That is according to a report from The Express, who claim that Arsenal will be scouting Reading in action tonight.
The Royals take on Exeter in the EFL Trophy tonight and Arsenal will have a scout there to watch two players.
Teenagers Vickers and Bindon are on the Arsenal radar with scouts allegedly ‘briefed’ to keep tabs on both players.
Who is Reading talent Caylan Vickers?
Vickers has come up in the Reading ranks and showed promise in the club Under-18 system.
Arsenal actually faced Vickers in the Under-18 Premier League last season with the youngster bagging an assist against the Gunners.
With Reading limited in terms of who they can sign this summer, boss Ruben Selles has been forced into promoting young players.
Vickers is one of them and offers real versatility having played out wide, up front or as an attacking midfielder during his time in the Reading ranks.
The 18-year-old has played nine first-team games this season and scored first professional goal in the 2-1 win over Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.
Who is Arsenal target Tyler Bindon?
Bindon has a slightly different story having been born in New Zealand.
The defender hails from a sporting family; his mother was a regular for the New Zealand women’s football team whilst his father was a volleyball player.
After spending time with East Coast Bays, Bindon joined the Los Angeles FC ranks before heading to Rangers this past summer.
Still only 18, just like Vickers, Bindon qualifies for New Zealand and the United States, earning two Under-19 caps for the latter.
Bindon has now started three League One games for Reading, with the Royal conceding just once in those games.
Arsenal seemingly fancy adding both players to their youth ranks and will be looking for them to impress against Exeter tonight.
